Madewell’s 2021 Do Well Report takes a big step forward in cementing the company’s commitment to sustainability and transparency. It is Madewell’s first report aligned with Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) and Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, which makes for a marked increase in transparency and allows for measurable progress via documented outcomes. The 86-page document is digital only (keeping it eco-friendly, of course).

Design & Infographics
The design is an evolution of the visuals created for the 2020 Do Well Report. Mirroring the report’s development into a more seasoned document, thanks to the inclusion of the SASB and GRI standards, this year’s layout feels like a more grown-up version of its predecessor.
Greatest Hits
For its release, the report was accompanied by an updated “Greatest Hits” series, reimagined as animated, in-feed Instagram posts. The bite-sized items kept Madewell followers up to speed on the company’s top sustainability efforts.
