“All Ahead Flank" is a naval term that conveys faster than full speed—it's meant for max speed. Typically, it's used in an emergency or during an attack, but for client and Navy vet Dan Dent, it is a call to action for how to live: take risks and do what you must to live a full life. To share that spirit with his children and grandchildren, Dan wanted to create a keepsake documenting his lifelong conquests.

The small-but-mighty book chronicles Dan's life from early childhood to present day. It follows his adventures, from traveling to the Galapagos Islands to competing in the Iditarod. Text is supported by over 100 personal photos and documents, many of which were shot and retouched for the book. At key moments, Dan also offers personal reflections, noted in handwritten green text.
