Thesis: Pastario: A Catalogue of Italian Pastas
This project analyzes and catalogues the 310 pastas featured in Oretta Zanini De Vita’s Encyclopedia of Pasta in an effort to better understand the relationship between food and culture. Each pasta is organized into one of seven categories (long, short, stretched, etc.), and then by composition, cooking method, and cultural context.

Freelance Designer: Developed a branding system for Valentina Black, which featured custom hand-lettering. Items include business cards, stationary, packaging, labels and tags for a line of handmade beeswax candles.

Assistant Associate Creative: Developed advertisements for GORE-TEX® outerwear products and internal branding materials. Reported to Design Director and Senior Designer.

Intern, In-House Graphic Designer: Designed and developed the Our Plain Duty: Social Security 1935 digital application. Developed concept, designed, and installed temporary exhibits. Consulted on a $35 million dollar renovation project to redesign all museum galleries. Created exhibit guides, educational curriculum guides, advertisements, collateral for events/programs, and learning aids for students. Reported to Director.

Freelance Designer: Designed event materials for the Four Freedoms Award Ceremony (Fall 2011) including a suite of invitation materials, event program, menus, gift tags, and wrapping paper.

Environmental Design Intern: Assisted designers with developing wayfinding systems, branding materials and environmental graphics for private schools and colleges. Reported to Senior Designers.

Social Designer/Internship: Hosted a community engagement event to bring people together through food in collaboration with other students from MICA. Developed a branding system, educational aids, and a promotional video to encourage parents to enroll their children in the after school program. The program provides a safe place for kids to learn and play through character building, artistic enrichment and academic support. Reported to MICA Professor, Ryan Clifford.

Intern: Developed film, created polymer plates, and prepared vandercook and platen presses for production. Designed posters using wood and metal type. Printed wedding invitations and birth announcements on a Vandercook SP15. Reported to Director.
